Looks like an amazing game, great setup. The Afghan compound makes a brilliant little fort once you stick a flag on the top.
Once I saw the defences laid out I thought "Wow, I wouldn't want to attack that!" then I saw a wave of tanks come over the hill and thought "Wow, I wouldn't want to have to defend against that!" lol
Painting on all parts is superb and it's good to see the Desert War project finally get under way.

My only question is, what the hell is this?

Thanks for this report Piers. Some great pictures.
You are rather kind to say we ran the game. I don't we would have finished the game let loose. But we learned a good bit.

It was a great victory :D
thanks to a lot of bad luck on thomas' side, the germans didn't get to move early enough.

Ace, this is French field engineering. It's called a Tanaké, it's a modified armoured truck with a 37mm gun and HMG. It was one of the last to perish and did it's fair of casualtied.

That's a super report of what sounds like a great game. Those photos are fantastic, I really like the skydrop which sets the models and figures off.

Looks fantastic guys. Nicely done.
I especially like the German spotter/radio team, but really I love the claustrophobic photo of the room-to-room clearing at the end. The spirit of Camerone lives on!
